There was never a question of me not embracing painting in my life. I always knew it was something I would do.

I started at a very young age with paint by numbers. Year's later I came across one of these "masterpieces" and was thrilled to see how well my young inhibited self had painted within the lines!

Life intervened as it does and I had a long hiatus from painting but I would catch myself observing nature with an artist's eye. With retirement and my move to Golden, I have now come back to painting which is a coming home on so many levels.

Painting has always been a deep, intimate transition from mind to canvas for me. Each painting I do is a personal growth of self that nurtures my soul.
