Collection: Denise English

Like exercise, I enjoy and keep painting mainly to balance my life. It seems that much of my time is spent on meeting day to day stuff, which I enjoy, but painting helps me to focus and build on my creativity.  Art, in general, is something just for me, while others can enjoy it if they choose to do so.  Painting, especially with watercolours helps me to realize that so much of life is out of my control and making the best of any outcome negative or positive brings the most satisfaction.  For me, art is the extension of what I value most in life, nature and relationships.
